Thinking of selling?
I bring comparable sales, how long those homes sat, and what they actually closed at. Then I give three pricing options and let you choose.
The first two weeks of a listing are the most important window.

Buying or selling? Let's make it real.
I'm Bridget Horstmann, a REALTOR with Real Home Realty, and I believe real estate should be about more than just buying and selling houses. It's about people, big decisions, honest conversations, and having someone in your corner who actually cares about getting it right.
Dodge County is home, and real estate is what I do. I was born and raised here, and since 2019, I've been helping buyers and sellers throughout Beaver Dam, Dodge County and surrounding areas navigate the real estate process with local expertise, honest advice, and real communication.
I'm not the agent who is going to tell you what you want to hear just to get the deal. I'll tell you what I really think, explain your options, answer your questions, and help you make a decision you feel good about. Whether you're buying your first home, selling a longtime family home, moving up, downsizing, or simply trying to figure out what comes next, my job is to protect your interests and make the process feel a whole lot less overwhelming.
Here's the thing about me: my clients usually end up becoming my friends. That's because of how I approach every transaction. A little about me: I like to have fun, crack jokes, and keep things light when I can. But when it comes to my clients, I'm honest and fiercely protective, and I treat every transaction like family. I'll tell you what I really think, even when it's not necessarily what you want to hear. I'll answer your questions, explain your options, and make sure you understand what's happening every step of the way.
I'm not here just to close a deal. I'm here to make sure you feel confident in your decisions, know that someone is looking out for you, and have an agent you can actually trust.
I do my best to answer my phone and return messages as soon as I can. I pride myself on communication and I make it a point to keep you, your lender, and the agent on the other side of the deal in the loop every step of the way. And when I need to push for you, I will, though my honest approach is more "catch more flies with honey" than bulldozer.
I got into real estate when my kids got a little older and I wanted something to get me out of the house. What I found was a calling. That calling got personal when I helped my own daughter buy her first home, walking her through every step so she could make informed decisions instead of just crossing her fingers. That experience sparked my passion for helping first-time buyers with honest, pressure-free advice.
And it's not just first-time buyers. I love working with people at every stage, upgrading, going through a divorce, empty nesters, growing families, folks navigating the loss of someone they love, or sellers who need to move quickly before a tough situation gets worse. For sellers, I bring 20 years of marketing and client relations experience to showcase your home and protect your interests. Whatever the reason, my job is to make a stressful process a little less stressful, and to make sure you walk away feeling educated, good about your decision, and like it was not nearly as bad as you thought it would be.
You should also know, I try to keep hours but yet accommodate buyers and sellers. Not only are my clients important, but so is my family. I do not work on Sundays unless it's needed, because those are family days.
If you are looking for an agent who is honest, easy to work with, and genuinely wants the best for you, that's me. I am not in this to just close deals. I am in it to help people. I would love to be an agent you interview. Please reach out if you have any questions or are looking for an agent.
I explain the process so you understand it rather than feel sold to.
I contact you the way I would want to be contacted and move at your pace.
I keep you, your lender, and the agent on the other side of the deal in the loop every step of the way.

Under current rules every buyer signs an agreement before seeing homes. I explain both options plainly and let you choose. No cold calls, no pressure.
I will not let a first time buyer purchase a home I would not let my own kids buy.
Six quick questions. No pressure.
Both listings are live in the search.

Bridget was absolutely fantastic! My wife and I worked with her to purchase our first home and she was great through every step of the process. Very easy to work with, excellent communication, and very understanding and down to Earth. During our first meeting she mentioned that she wouldn't let us buy a house she wouldn't let her kids buy, and that stuck with us and felt it the whole time. Went above and beyond what we expected from a realtor.
I have referred bridget to friends, she sold both homes way over asking price in very short time! Also helped with all Prepare sake staging ideas. Awesome job
Working with Bridget was wonderful. She made the process smooth and efficient. She was responsive and knowledgeable when we had questions. I'm so glad we found her. The first person we contacted seemed great at first but it turned out they didn't have much experience and then relied on high pressure tactics before we'd even had a chance to discuss our needs. Fortunately the second person we tried, Bridget, was the total opposite. We would recommend her without any hesitation.
I serve Dodge County primarily, and parts of Washington, Waukesha, Jefferson, Columbia, and Fond du Lac counties. The Dodge County towns I cover include Beaver Dam, Waupun, Mayville, Horicon, and Juneau.
Yes. Under current rules every buyer signs an agreement before seeing homes. I explain both plainly. A pre-agency agreement means I can open the door and point out material issues, but I cannot advise on price or negotiate. My words for it: a friendly door opener. A buyer agency agreement means full representation, so I can advise, negotiate, and act in the buyer's interest. I prefer it because then I can actually help.
I bring comparable sales, how long those homes sat, and what they actually closed at. Then I give three pricing options and let you choose. I explain the tradeoff of each. You decide.
Yes. There's no charge at all to request a home valuation. It's completely free, with no obligation. Getting a home valuation doesn't mean you have to list your home with me.
I've been licensed since 2019. That's 7 years of experience. I've sold 83 homes (Zillow, all time).
I also serve parts of Washington, Waukesha, Jefferson, Columbia, and Fond du Lac counties.
